i like master Sun's body movements but he has a problem that we discuss on sunday. The spear is not tourch on the body. when he did "open""Close" look like he put that close to body. however, it is not as close as what we did right?

Different things used on different occasion. This is to train his body familiar with spear.
Close to body need the hold whole hand grip on spear. Otherwise lose its meaning. Too hard to explain on paper.
