It is not difficult to do it, you strike a palm from top to bottom ,how difficult to generate the wind with enough extinguish the fire fo the candle ? Unless you guys kung fu are so poor that you can not strike you palm straight.

If you real want to test and prove you skill , you don't do top to bottom strike. You strike you palm level!!! Beside there is significant different the fire got put out before your hand reach or after you complete the strike. That will review you have power on your palm or just a brute force.


You do it top to bottom, you are just hide some fact that you palm strike actually got penetrative jing or just straight brute force only. Either ways will put out the fire.
