One thing I found is unless you have very solid wrist power and a strong grip, usually qin na does not work well. So I just work on my Bagua walk.
This is what i propose for revising Master Xu Class, I further divided the revise session into several components:
1. Qinna
2. Qi Gong
3. Bagua and Taiji forms
4. Subtleties (eg, force, structure refinement, and method to improve power etc.)
Because Gordon is good with forms, while BJ and Jean had first contact with Sifu Xu, Jean remember the qinna tech well. Whereas Michael and I pay more attention to some of the power issuing stuff. So in forms, Gordon can lead us, in qinna technique, Jean and BJ can lead us. Me and Michael just there to point out some of things need to pay attention to (but keep in mind, we may miss a lot of stuff, so please bring forward any ideas or questions.)
I cannot make it this week yet, will keep you guys informed. Plan to do that in a stadium next to Chatswood station after 6pm. Let me know what you think.
This is not finalized.
Just give a brief note on thing I remembered in case I forgot:
1. Bagua, four kind of palms and its requirement.
2. Bagua, types of four basic walking steps.
3. Bagua, mobile steps.
4. Bagua, eight poses, different kicks. Changing palm.
5. Brick/Water bottle holding training.
I pay more attention on basics.
