Zhang Yun, born and raised in Beijing, China and now residing near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the United States, began his study of traditional martial arts as a young boy. His early practice included Shaolin Quan, Shuaijiao (Chinese wrestling) and Tongbei Quan. In 1974 at the age of sixteen, he began his study of Wu Style Taiji Quan with Master Luo Shuhuan and one year later he was sent by Master Luo to his Grandmaster Wang Peisheng’s home for further intensive training. Zhang Yun became a direct student of Grandmaster Wang and has followed Grandmaster Wang’s teaching and mentorship with deep commitment throughout his martial arts career. His practice, guided by Grandmaster Wang’s Yin Cheng Gong Fa training system, has focused on the internal styles of Wu Style Taiji Quan, Xingyi Quan, Bagua Zhang, and weapons.

Grandmaster Wang Peisheng, the president of the Beijing Wu Style Taiji Quan Association, was Yang Yuting’s senior disciple and successor. He also received long and comprehensive training from his Grandmaster Wang Maozhai who was a senior disciple of Quan You, the founder of Wu Style Taiji Quan. Grandmaster Wang Peisheng began teaching Taiji Quan when he was eighteen years old, and during his almost seventy years of practicing, teaching and fighting, he is widely renowned as one of the greatest martial arts masters.

Time: 10 am - 4.30pm including 1hr Lunch Break

Cost: Per person $100 per Day; $180 for both Days.

Early Bird discount: $90 per Day; $160 for 2 Days paid to be paid in full by 17th August 2009
