From personal experience,

1. No cold drink after training. Feck your joint.
2. If twist anke fix it quickly. If not fixed right, will feck you knee later.
3. Position hip right. If you dont want to have bad back.
4, Dont stay one movement for too long and become stiff.

I have seen people with great ma skill feck their knee, including myself. affraid

Cheers,

Open kua is a difficult issue. Perhaps has something to do with rotational angle of head of femur from this article.
Thanks for sharing Jervis.

Just watched that youtube clip on 'Chen Yu' from the link you posted.

He is a big guy & when he moves - it just looks so powerful.

These are good clips. Thanks Chowfarn.
But Jervis, head shaking is probably not good because it means enery is trap around head and neck. Just a personal opinion, i could be wrong.

I read this a few days ago http://practicalmethod.com/lang/en/2010/10/sore-knees/

This is the best bit of training advise I read in ages !

I could never work out why my right knee hurt some times & other times it was fine.
I put it down to my age & past injuries.
Some changes in my foot alignment to my knee has done wonders.

Thanks for the post!
