i'm not sure have we met before but it is me


. In our Fu style Bagua. there is some basic training Like "old eight movements(老八式)"which contain 2 types of kicking. Bagua Linking Legs have 4 types, (snapping kick)彈腿,(Heel push kick) 蹬腿, (Heel to heaven kick)朝天蹬,(Oblique kick ) 斜踢. All of them are steaching your bones and tendon for the requirement of Bagua Circle walk and the Yin or yang palm so that we need to use power. Same as "Kicking mud step""踼趟步" in Yang Palm, we need to use power to do all of them to achieve the goal. "pieceing gorin"(插胯), which is one of the requirment of "mud step" cannot be done without those kick training. This is what i was told and my experience.

If you mean the 擺, 扣, 截, 圈, 勾. It is not obivous in our form but we need to understand

I learned that the following 5 elements of Bagua style's kick are 摩, 蹬, 踩, X, X (forget the last 2 elements).

This is 5 elements of Bagua mud step. 踢(kick),趟(slip),磨(rub),探(investigate), 踩(Step). Honestly, Gao style had strong requirment of it
